Christ United Methodist Church is located in Oregon, Ohio, an Eastern Suburb of Toledo. We are a growing, exciting congregation that has a firm foundation in the Christian faith and continues to focus on spiritual growth and the offering of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people.

Our mission statement proclaims that we are "connecting others with Christ's love." This helps us live into the vision for the United Methodist Church to "make disciples of Jesus Christ".

We are called to be radically hospitable to all of God's children. We are a congregation that values hospitality above all else. We believe that all people are unique creations of God and are to be welcomed into our community as if they were Jesus Christ, Himself. We are a congregation focused on reaching out in missions to show Christ's love to those who need it most, and not only to provide charity, but to invite all into community together. This also empowers us to invite people into our fellowship through worship, study and Christian action.

We are called to have passionate worship. This is a call to invite people to worship with us. Our worship times include a meditative, quiet service (8 a.m.) a family-focused, traditional-style worship (10:30 a.m.).

We are called to work toward building faith forming relationships. We value community. From our congregational dinners, to our Bible-study opportunities, to our small group gatherings, Christ U.M.C. wants to be your home away from home.

We are called to be sent out in risk-taking mission and service. We believe that a faith without evidence is dead. Our mission and service is a response to our faith in God who has gifted us with a joy that could only come from a loving creator. We serve, not to try and be saved by God, but we serve because we are saved.
