Pastor Kurt Tomlinson

Pastor Kurt came to the church in 2002 with his wife, Elaine and daughter Elizabeth. Their family has since welcomed a son, Jimmy. In his time with us, he has become a true Oregonian. Kurt's loves include his family, the church, and racing. A volunteer chaplain at Toledo Speedway, Pastor Kurt shows his love of racing while showing God through his actions. Our main preacher and administrator, he is available for consultation, counseling, weddings, funerals, and just general conversation. You can contact him at pastorkurt@christumcoregon.org.

Tracy Thiel - Children's Ministry Director

We are pleased to welcome Tracy to a staff position as the Children's Ministry Director. Tracy has been a part of our congregation for some time and will add some excitement and energy to our Children's Ministry. We are pleased to welcome Desiree to Christ UMC. Desirée is a sophomore at the University of Toledo studying Astronomy.

Nancy Sheets - Organist

We welcome Nancy Sheets as the newest member of our staff. We look forward to having her support the music ministries of Christ Church.

Ed Ellis - Custodian

You may not always see Ed, but evidence of him is everywhere. Keeping a facility like ours clean and looking good is a big job, and Ed is just the man for it. Father of Mike and husband to Linda, Ed works when most of us are away; keeping the church polished and ready for the many events we have is not a 9-5 job! Ed is responsible for setup and teardown of all events at Christ Church.
